| Bio | Hello, my name is xinying and I am orginally from China. Whilst I was at University, I started tutoring some international Chinese students. I helped them with essay support, structuring essays and how to be creative with their writings like using conjunctions. After that, I went to tutor more students at Into University and Nottingham Central Libary, where I taught children, give them homework support on various subjects and also tutored foreign adults at the libary. A typical session consists of warm up activities like introducing themselves and ice breakers. Then, it is followed by the main body of the session, this includes analysing and talking about texts, fill in the gap activties and matching excerises. In the end of the session, I summarise the key points for the session. I tailor my content according to the students goals, and come up with an individualised student plan.I throughly enjoyed the experience and I found it rewarding helping others. |
