| Bio | I am a dependable teacher with more than 12 years of experience working with children aged 5-11. I taught in England, both in state and independent schools before moving overseas to teach internationally. As a young student, I was educated in an International School. Growing up in a multicultural society and having a multicultural background has allowed me to embrace diversity by helping me understand and respect different customs and cultures, whilst being flexible and adaptable to change. I was also lucky enough to have a teacher who genuinely cared about my potential for success and demonstrated that through her endless patience and encouragement. To her, I was more than a letter in a gradebook: I was a person with dreams, aspirations and endless possibility. I believe all students are capable to achieve more than they think they can. I steadfastly believe that if we emulate the teachers who led us to achieve beyond our expectations and who made us want to be teachers in the first place we can transform our classrooms into hubs of inspiration. That is the kind of teacher that I am. |
