How it Works?
Students
Students may use the 7-step process or the tutor finder to research the tutors according to their needs. The 7-step process allows for more nuanced research unlike any other that focuses on the key details to ensure that tutors are chosen based on specific details rather than generality. The tutor finder provides a quick search for those in a rush.
Students can select from a FREE 15-minute meeting to get to know their perspective tutors before committing to long-term lessons or can book lessons immediately with our 60-minute classes. All our lessons and meetings are conducted on our state-of-the-art whiteboard and video chat platform. All messaging between teachers and students also takes on our built-in messaging service to ensure smooth and safe communication between tutors and parents/students. Lessons and chats can be accessed on the profile link on the top right of the page.
At SEAL, we provide a plethora of FREE materials to aid our students in their studies and general academic and pastoral growth. Our courses are equipped with content-checking quizzes which test the student’s overall knowledge in a fun and interactive manner to ensure the student’s learning has been maximised.
Students can book lessons themselves or through their parents through our quick and easy booking system. Don’t hesitate, let’s maximise your potential today!
Parents
As always, a parent’s role is to guide and support the student’s growth alongside the feedback of the tutor. Parents are responsible for ensuring that students attend their lessons on time and complete any required homework. Similarly to students, parents can also book lessons and meetings direct through the 7-step process, and the tutor finder or can contact the SEAL team directly on WhatsApp (+44 7376 602419) where we can get to know your needs better or call you should further assistance be needed.
It is very important that lessons are paid for on time to ensure that lessons are not delayed. Should rescheduling need to take place, parents/students can reschedule anytime before the lesson is due. It is imperative that parents try their utmost to communicate punctually should a reschedule or cancellation needs to happen. For more information on our policies please visit our policies page.
Parents are just as important as tutors. Nurture, dedication and care all start at home. We’ve found that the most successful students are usually the ones with the most invested parents. We always strongly advise that parents stay in the loop of their child’s education in order to maximise their potential.
Tutors
Only 1/8 of tutors who apply to work with us have their applications approved. Our vetting and application progress is rigorous as we only hire the most dedicated and capable tutors around.
Prospect tutors can apply to work with us through our registration process. Once completed fully, our team will review your application and if successful, you will hear from us within 7-10 days regarding the next steps.
All lessons and communications can be found in the profile dashboard on the top right of the page. Tutors are required at the very minimum to attend lessons on time and preferably 5 minutes before the lesson is due to start.
